The Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to AIO is a compact standalone converter that receives a single NDI stream from your network and outputs it simultaneously through three signal types: HDMI, SDI, and analogue. At £338, it is the solution for installations where one NDI source needs to feed a mix of display types and equipment standards at the same time, removing the need for three separate converter devices, a downstream splitter, or additional cabling infrastructure at the destination point.
AIO stands for All-In-One. In the Pro Convert context, it means this single device handles multiple output signal types from a single NDI input simultaneously. Where the compact NDI to HDMI outputs only HDMI and the compact NDI to SDI outputs only SDI, the AIO outputs all three signal types at once from the same NDI source. One device, three active outputs, one NDI source feeding all of them in real time.
The device connects to your Ethernet network, receives an NDI stream from any NDI-capable source on the network, and simultaneously outputs that video signal through its HDMI, SDI, and analogue outputs. All three outputs are active at the same time from the same source. Configuration and source selection are managed through a web browser interface with no host PC required. Source switching is handled remotely through the web UI.
The alternative to the AIO is three separate converter devices, one for each output type. Buying the compact NDI to HDMI (£329), compact NDI to SDI (£332), and a separate analogue converter individually would cost significantly more than £338 and introduce three separate management interfaces, three power connections, and more cabling at the destination. The AIO is the right choice whenever all three output types are needed at the same physical location. The one scenario where separate converters make more sense is when the three output destinations are in different physical locations requiring independent devices at each point. When all three outputs are at the same location or connected to the same equipment cluster, the AIO is simpler, cheaper, and cleaner.
Decode NDI streams to physical video outputs for monitors, projectors, or downstream equipment in IP production systems.
Receive IP video at display endpoints and convert back to physical signals for integration with existing AV infrastructure.
Bridge NDI IP networks to legacy SDI or HDMI broadcast equipment at the output stage.
Drive signage displays or preview monitors from NDI sources distributed across a campus or facility network.
